He has served as a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers' Trial News editorial board (and a term as its Editor in Chief) and its Legislative Steering Committee, as well as on the Washington State Bar Association's Legislative Steering and Court Rules and Procedures committees. Lance has been accepted by The National Registry of Who's Who as a Life Member, in recognition of his exemplary service, both to community and to profession. For each of the past eight years, his fellow Washington State lawyers have voted him a "Super Lawyer" among personal injury litigators, as published in Washington Law and Politics magazine. He holds the highest "AV" peer review rating from Martindale Hubbell, and the highest "10.0/Superb" rating from the consumer-based AVVO lawyer rating website.
